The Variable Message Sign is a self-sufficient LED display device designed for Intelligent Transportation Systems. Its function is to quickly and dynamically present various types of short messages, alphanumeric texts, and pictorial signs to alert motorists about emergencies, current traffic situations, weather forecasts, incidents, and traffic regulations. It is capable of displaying information transmitted by the traffic control and monitoring center, either automatically or manually, as well as locally from a laptop or desktop.
