The Maintel Traffic Signals Operations and Maintenance program encompasses both preventive and responsive measures aimed at achieving optimal traffic signal systems. This initiative not only facilitates the flow of traffic but also fosters a safer environment conducive to smooth vehicular movement, pedestrian access, cycling, and public transport. We are committed to delivering comprehensive operations and maintenance services for the entire traffic signal system, adhering to the established performance standards.
We will establish and uphold the necessary infrastructure throughout the maintenance phase and ensure that an adequate inventory of spare parts is maintained to minimize system downtime. During the operations and maintenance period, any service or repair complaints will be addressed by our O&M team within four (4) hours of the complaint being logged. Any defective equipment will be repaired or replaced on the same day. In instances of significant defects that necessitate the removal of equipment, it will be returned within a mutually agreed timeframe, fully repaired and operational. Meanwhile, we will provide substitute equipment to guarantee the uninterrupted functioning of the traffic signals. In addition to addressing complaints, a Traffic Engineer will conduct site visits biweekly to evaluate the serviceability of the traffic signal system and will perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics every three months during the warranty and maintenance period.
In the interim period, a substitute item/equipment will be deployed by us to ensure continuous operation of the Traffic Signals. Apart from the Complaints, Traffic Engineer will visit the site once every fortnight to assess the serviceability of the Traffic Signal System and once in every 03 months to carry out the Preventive activities and diagnostics of the system during the Warranty and Maintenance Period.
