OUR SERVICES

Installation & Commissioning

Maintel holds a license from the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi to perform electrical installation, testing, repair, and maintenance services. We are equipped with essential instruments such as Insulation Testers, Earth Resistance Testers, Volt-Meters, Ammeters, and Multimeters to facilitate our electrical operations. The installation of traffic signals is a specialized service carried out by our skilled team, ensuring that the traffic control systems are effectively utilized by motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians. Our Microtrans Installation Team possesses extensive experience in executing turnkey projects for Traffic Signal Systems throughout India.

We engage in a variety of electrical and civil operations, which encompass road cutting, trenching, ducting, cable laying, and the installation of electronic and electrical components for the project, as well as civil tasks such as foundation work and the installation of traffic poles. Additionally, we conduct testing and commissioning of complete systems. Our team prioritizes all mobility and safety measures while also identifying opportunities to improve accessible road spaces. We adhere to both International and Indian Standard guidelines (IRC) during the installation of road traffic signals. Numerous health and safety protocols are implemented during the installation of traffic signals due to significant hazards, including working near live traffic, at heights, and with live electricity.

At existing traffic intersection sites, we typically implement a temporary traffic management system. During peak traffic conditions, we schedule installation work during off-peak hours, such as early mornings, late nights, or on weekends, to reduce traffic congestion; however, this may vary based on the specific location of the installation.

Pre- Installation Test
Each component, apparatus, and accessory of the Traffic Control system undergoes individual testing conducted by our Project Engineer, under the oversight and approval of the Project Manager or Client’s Engineer, prior to installation. The pre-installation assessments will focus on ensuring the proper operation and functionality of each piece of equipment, whether it is manufactured or assembled by the Contractor or supplied by a subcontractor or an external manufacturer.

A pre-installation test will only be deemed complete if the tested unit satisfies all material, operational, and performance criteria as outlined in the Contract Documents, according to the Engineer's evaluation. Any unit that does not successfully pass a pre-installation test will be marked by the Project Engineer and must be replaced by the Supplier until the new unit successfully passes all pre-installation tests to the satisfaction of the Project Engineer or Client’s Engineer. No unit may be installed in the field without the Engineer issuing a Pre-Installation Test Certificate, confirming that the unit has successfully passed the required tests to his satisfaction. The Engineer reserves the right to waive pre-installation testing requirements for a group of similar units after testing a sufficient number of randomly selected units from that group.

Post – Installation Test
Upon the completion of the installation of the equipment, components, elements, and appurtenances of the Traffic Control System, we will conduct a post-installation test under the oversight of the Project Manager and to the satisfaction of the Client’s Engineer. This test will focus on the functional operation and performance of the system, as well as the efficacy of its components. The post-installation test will be deemed complete only if the system and its components meet the criteria outlined in the Contract Documents. Any system or component that does not pass the post-installation test will be replaced by us or the supplier until a satisfactory replacement is achieved, as determined by the Project Manager or Client’s Engineer.

System Start-up and Initial Operation
Upon receiving a Post Installation Test Certificate from the Project Manager or Engineer, we will initiate the systems that have successfully passed the post-installation test and will maintain continuous operation for a designated initial period. The Project Engineer, Project Manager, and Client's personnel will be present during the start-up and initial operation of all equipment, components, and systems. During this initial operation phase, we will diligently observe and monitor the system's performance, making necessary final adjustments and corrections to meet the Project Manager's or Engineer's approval. Should any significant defects in major systems or components be detected during this period, which the Engineer determines necessitate modifications, the initial operation period will recommence following the completion of the required modifications to the Engineer's satisfaction.

Site Acceptance Test
When the Traffic Control system started – up and performs to the satisfaction of the Engineer during the initial operation period of time. We shall handover all wiring diagram, installation manual and intersection drawings, Consumption report of materials, measurements, all the document related to operation and maintenance of Traffic Control System to the Project Manager.
